Olipop Ad (Spec Idea)

Thoughts behind the content: With health-consciousness on the rise, people are excited about these new “healthy sodas.” Contrary to other diet sodas, however, Olipop contains added elements that help out your gut bacteria and overall health. They’re not only low in calories and sugar, but they’re high in things that count (fiber, prebiotics, etc). So, I think a campaign idea for Olipop would be to focus on the fact that their soda can replace those yucky supplements that so many of us take (prebiotics, fiber, antioxidants). Without making medical promises of course, I think a successful Olipop campaign could focus on being able to choose soda over pills and powders, without sacrificing benefits to the body. (Disclaimer: I am focusing on the creative concept and the writing, so would defer to a design specialist for the visual art, color, layout, etc.)

Thoughts behind the content: In an age of online shopping, reviews are crucial and frequently read. Since anyone anywhere can make reviews, there is a certain genuineness that comes with that. It recently became a trend on social media to find and circulate funny Google/Amazon reviews about products and places. So, I think an ad that grabs the public’s attention with a bizarre/funny (but positive) review, would bring some great humor and youth to the brand. This print ad would work well on public transportation, in public city spaces, and other places where people have time to stop and read for a minute.
